We love music promos.

What is it about musicians wanting to be film makers and vice versa? Will & Dom come from a background of playing in bands and Dan is a DJ, contributor to influential music blog http://www.20jazzfunkgreats.co.uk/wordpress/ Fractured Films have a natural affinity with making music promos and have shot promos for music ranging from rock to drum n bass, swampy blues to hip hop.

Our work's featured in award winning promos as well as No. 1 video hits on MTV2's MySpace chart and received millions of Youtube hits.

We know that a great concept can be as important than a mega budget. Though a budget that doesn't take the piss helps us deliver something really special. With tons of in-house skills and top-end equipment we're always open to producing concepts and treatments for tracks.

Here's a taster of a few promos we’ve made...

Because of You

Snapshot
Over 2 milion Youtube hits and counting for this blend of live action and animation (created by Shotopop) in a poignant, beautiful and sad tale of a bird falling in love with a balloon. Yes, really.

One Little Indian

Music Box

Snapshot
The band Anemo play themselves at a party where one by one they are duped by a Machiavellian character who may just be Lucifer himself. Once tricked they are damned to revolve in a music box on the shelf watching themselves replay their downfall for all eternity. A blend of green screen CGI and live action.

City Canyon Records

Dream Killer

Snapshot
A sarcophagus. Zombies in the basement. The amazing illustration of the late, great artist Johnny Deadstock. What’s not to love about this promo for the dirtiest of drum'n'bass tracks?
Label
C4C Recording

Zane Merite

Snapshot
Welcome to the Lynchian world of ‘Mudlow’ where girl’s bodies are found at low tide and hard-boiled cops investigate sleazy tug boat captains with blood-soaked results. Watch out for singer Tobias playing the roles of both cop and murder suspect.

Killer Ska Records

Pray

Snapshot
Live action promo for hard-hitting track ‘Pray’ inspired by real-life war events and shot in the most derelict warehouse known to man.
Label

The Fractured Films line-up have also been involved in the production of various other promos for acts including ‘Echo Lake’, ‘Bat For Lashes’ and ‘Fighting With Wire’. In the making of our music feature 'South Coast' we also shot various mini-promos to give a flavour of a whole host of artists, such as the one for the Buzz vs Blackgrass monster 'Say What' that you can check out in the South Coast trailer.
